# My DVD Disc Won’t Play

**Our discs are programmed to play on any ordinary DVD player worldwide, including Blu-Ray players. If you’re having difficulty playing your disc, try the following:**

* Play one or two different DVD discs in your player. If those don’t work either, the issue may be your DVD player.
* Your DVD may need cleaning. [**Read this article**](https://libanswers.abqlibrary.org/faq/28474) on how to safely clean a DVD disc and then try to play it again.

**If neither of these steps solve the problem, please do one of the following:**

* If you purchased a new DVD at **Amazon.com**, please follow their product return rules.
